@Alex4D Out of all the plugins I’ve used in the past decade, “Alex 4D Grow-Shrink” is probably my most used one. I love how simple and fast it is.
Please make a Resolve version someday. even if it’s paid, I’m in. I just want an easy way to do zoom-ins without fighting Resolve.
Quite literally years in the making, BRAW Toolbox v3.0.0 now includes a Blackmagic RAW Media Extension, allowing you to load BRAW natively and directly in Final Cut Pro, QuickTime Player and any other application that supports Media Extensions. 🥳
It includes full RAW parameters and metadata control, and even has Gyroflow built-in for stabilisation, so you can stabilise an entire clip with one click. No longer do you need to import BRAW via a Workflow Extension - you can literally just drag-and-drop from Finder. 🔥
For a strictly limited time, as a thank you for your patience, love and support, BRAW Toolbox is currently discounted to USD$49.99 (down from USD$79.99) on the Mac App Store.
HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who's supported BRAW Toolbox along the way.
This wouldn't have been possible without the help, support and genius of @_vade and AdrianEddy (creator of Gyroflow).

Wow. 🤯
It took me a few years... but I finally have BRAW playing back natively in Final Cut Pro via a BRAW Toolbox Media Extension.
It's not perfect - it's still a work-in-progress - but it's POSSIBLE.
@Blackmagic_News Blackmagic Design seems to be ignoring the need for a BRAW media extension plugin for final cut pro… but for how long??? we need answers. it was announced a long time ago and BMD still hasn’t shipped the plugin. what’s going on?
@Brohtatoe@TristanDaviesTV It wasn’t a forum post. It was a direct email between me and BMD support.
But that reply feels weak. macOS Media Extensions have already enabled RAW workflows like Sony X-OCN via Nablet.
So saying it’s “not possible because of Apple” just doesn’t add up.
@TristanDaviesTV I really hope you’re wrong and they release it ASAP. This isn’t some extra feature people can live without, it’s a basic necessity at this point. people are struggling with this every day, and it’s very frustrating
