DELHI POLICE STATEMENT 🚨🚨

- Protest by CJP in New Delhi turned unruly, aggressive, and violent. Protesters ignored repeated police warnings and prohibitory orders and refused to disperse.

- Protesters attacked police with stones and other objects and tried to breach barricades.

- Police and other government vehicles were vandalised; public property damaged.

- Large-scale violence threatened public order, security arrangements, and police safety.

- More than 118 police personnel injured, including senior officers (Special Commissioner, Joint Commissioner, Additional Commissioner, DCP, Addl DCP, ACP) and several women officers.

- About 60 protesters reported injured.

- Medico-legal examinations (MLC) for remaining injured police personnel are ongoing.

- Approximately 15–20 government vehicles and other government property damaged.

- Around 70 protesters detained.
FIR(s) will be registered under the BNS and other applicable laws for rioting, assault on public servants, and damage to public property.

- Police will take strict legal action against those involved and remains committed to public order and citizen safety.
