This "Ayyappa coin minted by East India Company" has been widely circulating on many social media platforms. It has been shared and re-shared by thousands of gullible users. But the coin is 100% fake/photo-shopped.

The faker does not know or seems to have forgotten the year in which EIC ruled. They never minted any coins in 1616.

The coins of other Hindu Gods "minted by east India company" are also fake.I don't think our gods need fake East India Company coins for validation. Unnecessary
