@SAKSHAM111@LokenathCh30624@IndiaNewGen I am an investor in Quant MFs from last 5 years.. so I don't agree with your statement that mutual funds don't do sizing, multi factor analytics, liquidity etc.
Some of their funds have given me 20% XIRR even though Indian markets haven't moved anywhere
@SAKSHAM111@LokenathCh30624@IndiaNewGen Some is an understatement.. many of his advice were bad.. it doesn't matter what his entry point are - anyways point is not to ape him.. when I self learnt I realized his analysis itself is very shallow and he omits lots of stuff..
@SAKSHAM111@LokenathCh30624@IndiaNewGen I followed him from 2020-2024 types . Many of his calls went south - and net net made little money on the stocks which we took basis his calls. Only from 2025 when he decided to invest in US stocks - his luck started pulling off. So his long term record isn't good.
@pintusahu2006@Akshat_World If it can't go why do we even have the TCS of 20% which was introduced 2-3 years back before which it was 5%? And why is the LRS limit of 250k hasn't been adjusted for 10 years?
@jadhavdg12@Akshat_World I agree with you bro, even I don't believe Akshat..
But which AI stocks are down 30-40%? Nvidia is down only 15% from its highs.. Microsoft has been down - yes but it has been from many months now..
@Akshat_World Did a 2 minute check and Chatgpt tells your post is a mix of fact, opinion and exaggeration...
If interested can share a point by point answer it gave. Whoever reading this post should definitely try asking the same question to your favourite LLM.
This screenshot is meaningless without trades/XIRR. If you have guts then just share a verified P&L link from Zerodha. A person can make 4 CR on 4CR or a 40 CR capital as well over 4-5 years (both are vastly different return profiles). Just share the verified P&L link.

There you go.
My India stock performance.
Will also post Mutual Funds separately.
You will see very few trades post 2024. Because that is when I exited most positions in the Indian markets. And, moved money to the US.
I was advising the same to folks.
People who listened benefitted.
Who didn't have now become armchair critics.
Also it is not about being right/wrong.
It is about having the guts to show performance.
And, back your conviction with real money.
@Akshat_World Your whole basis of pushing Indians to invest into US markets is $ appreciation will eat into Indian purchasing power (even for those who will continue to stay). Why don't you prepare a detailed report with some % estimates of this impact? Or I can do it for you.
@Akshat_World India imports <25% of GDP & net imports <7% of GDP. Check RBI's report or simply query some Llm and try to assess the impact of dollar appreciation on inflation - it won't be more than 0.5pp for every 3-4% depreciation for lower middle class and maybe 1-1.5pp for the upper class

@shubhspeaks@Akshat_World Having different perspectives are good.. but he simply called people investing in Indian markets as fools.. that's uncalled.. he himself has seen lot of failures which he doesn't talk about as that will just dent his course income..
