@Md_Nowsath_ Blaming the country & govt needs to be normalized. We seem to be trending towards an Orwellian economy. I hate writing this because we need more doers & less commenters, but I dread the day when our commenters finally start to focus on solving issues & not defend out of emotion.
@Yuchenj_UW Zilch. Absolutely zilch. Top talent literally get 5 job offers every day, know multiple founder who’d beg to hire them at any point in time.
@Yuchenj_UW Either you are an american top mind and you know you cant be discriminated against or you are not a top mind and hence have no idea how well top minds get treated in terms of job opportunities.
@SandeepMall Its not for people with a 5 mil net worth, its for people who have significantly more. At some point you’d rather have problems solve themselves than finding work arounds and thats why people will get this.
Probably the best way to uplift people is establishing a meritocracy where we optimize for brain and character. Reservations are holding us back because it optimizes for none of those things. Imagine trying to train a model with a completely wrong reward function.
@raggedtag Let me break this bubble. We do not have the best of brains. There. The average worker outside of India is much smarter. We are basically bottom feeders in global IQ. Some things in our favor are grit, and a huge number of people to throw at problems, but that is not enough.
@dravishakatoch I hate reading about save xyz, double income households can pay the EMI, aur kamao, etc. Housing should be affordable, you are being made to think that it’s a you problem, it’s not. We severely lack brain power and honesty within the govt, and the masses alike.
@RajeevRC_X We need a native AI lab. I’d be willing to leave everything and work on it if enough incentive+support+freedom is given. Others would too, but realistically people know that we’d get dragged into some kind of propaganda at some point and we are doing too well to deal that.
Only just realized that the way a person writes was one of the primary metrics I used to use to determine if someone is smart or not. Fu llms, you’ve introduced too much noise.
