When leaders mock schoolgirls, it is not politics anymore, it is a failure of values.

Every parent, brother, and sister in India should question this. In Delhi’s budget, cycles were provided to Class 9 girls to reduce dropouts and support their education. But instead of appreciating such steps, statements like the one made by Saurabh Bharadwaj sparked outrage.

Referring to schoolgirls and saying “next time give a broom” is not politics, it is below-the-belt commentary. This raises a serious question for Arvind Kejriwal: should such voices represent your party?

Schemes like ensuring girls complete their education and avoid early marriage are meant to empower them, not reduce them to political remarks. Comparing this with past initiatives like those under Akhilesh Yadav only shows how welfare gets dragged into unnecessary politics.

This is not about parties, it is about respect. Women across India, along with institutions like the Women’s Commission, must take note and raise their voice.

Absolutely shameful behavior! A Hyundai Verna stopped on the roadside in front of Capital Library, Delta Square,Bhubaneswar, and 2–3 passengers casually drank Frooti and threw the empty packets on the road before driving away. Is this your civic sense? Roads are not your dustbin!
