Why are Malaysians obsessed with AI images? I see it on almost every posters, social media posts, videos of every business, even news channels.
It’s all the same jumbled slop.
What happened to graphic designers, photographers, videographers, comms?
The older I get, the more I realise how important it is to show up for people. We all have a thousand things to do, busy and weighed down, so it means so much more when the people you love take time to show you they love you. I really treasure it.
when i realised nobody knows what they're doing. it's idiots all the way up. you don't need permission, or qualifications, or expertise. you can literally just do things.

Some weeks back, a friend recommended that I check out Kaber Vasuki's song, Firangipaani. And so, I did... and was shaken by the vulnerability, the easy poetry. Ever since, I've welled up many times to it. Beautiful, honest music that's long enough to let you soak in it.
The use of long lenses throughout all of One Battle After Another is literally to die for but yeah i will never forget seeing this sequence in IMAX as long as i live
and more books to read and more paintings to learn about. the world is filled with art; go seek it out. don't rely on these algorithms. buy random dvds at the charity shop and get a library card. art is the curing of callousness. your life will be better for it, i promise.
I don’t know if it’s a red flag.
I immediately go silent when something upsets or hurt me. It’s a coping mechanism I have developed over time.

Maybe identity is fluid—always evolving, never fully graspable. Maybe it’s a narrative we tell ourselves, a story we edit and rewrite as we live. But if we forget parts of the story, does it stop being ours? Or are we just turning the page to a new chapter?
