Turkey is unlikely to confront Iran even with Makkah Pact support because Ankara anticipates a functioning Iran as far easier to manage than a collapsed one: state breakdown might trigger massive refugee flows, militancy and Kurdish instability, especially given Iran’s existing Afghan refugee population. The Iraq and Syria crises have shown Turkey how quickly regional wars become domestic security and economic burdens. Erdoğan’s 2026 diplomacy—pushing negotiations and offering mediation while maintaining channels with Iran, the US, Pakistan and Qatar—reinforces this approach. Iran also remains a $5–6 billion trade partner, while Turkey increasingly prioritises a stable Syria-Iraq environment and its growing Baghdad partnership, including the Kirkuk–Ceyhan corridor, a 15% TPAO stake in Kirkuk, and roughly Iraqi oil flows nearing 1 million bpd. A Turkey-Iran war might jeopardise all of these interests. https://t.co/jn2X8lWmJF
Turkey’s “financial hub” pitch is really a peace bet
🇹🇷-এর IFC launch-এর timing itself may be a signal: Ankara চায় global capital Turkey-কে এমন একটি country হিসেবে দেখুক যে stability expect করে, war নয়।
তিনি crisis-টিকে এমন একটি situation হিসেবে describe করেছেন যা “may open new doors before our country.” Şimşek এরপর tax cuts, 20-year foreign-income exemption এবং 2–3% repatriation amnesty-এর কথা বলেছেন।
Why this projects “no war coming”
What actually happened to Dubai
Real, measurable, not exaggerated:
Tourism cratered: hotel occupancy February-তে 84.7% থেকে March 2026-এ 33.1%-এ নেমেছে, 54% YoY down। Landmark hotels “for renovation” বন্ধ হয়েছে। WTTC regional losses €515M/day estimate করেছে, ফলে forecast করা +13% tourism year এখন possible $34–56B loss-এর দিকে যেতে পাে।
Real estate and investor trust dented, not broken: short-term rentals (Palm Jumeirah, Marina, JBR) সবচেয়ে দ্রুত hit নিয়েছে; long-term property তুলনামূলকভাবে “short-term pause” হিসেবে held up করেছে, correction হিসেবে নয়।
Very likely yes, however Bangladesh post 1971 is extremely unstable in the implementation of genuine democracy or as country overall till now (BNP). The govt couldn’t provide the people with fairness, world class amneties like parks, recreational hubs, healthcare, ease of business(rank 168) , etc. In such instable countries like pre 2024 Syria, people tend to move to radical ideologies/ apocalyptical , blaming democracy overall, other religious groups. In USA- China, non christian groups talk a lot of neg about the country, but prolly will almost sacrifice all to keep his PR/Citizenship. Even Hui Muslims support Chinese govt. The reason for present Syria and not like Myanmar is for Turkey/MIT, US, Saudi reforming HTS’s leadership. @Pragmatism2426@McBeaner69@iftekhar254@opu_nh@AhmedShahAzfar
Here are some thoughts on the issues Bangladesh needs to consider as it weighs the possibility of joining Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan in the new Mecca Pact.
The criticisms are bluff. The playing fields are diff in 2026 and this is high-tech f1.
He has already extracted the most out of this RB22 which is an experimental with the new Ford- power unit, merely adapting. On top of that, insane 13kilos of extra weight upgrades and extra sensitivity to turns acc to Pierre Waché.
A consistent P4, 7.5/10 mid- season driver rating, 3/4th highest speed car is genuinely counted as good for most driver’s season.
Red Bull already shifting focus toward 2027, so development of the current car is winding down while rivals keep improving.
His final Dutch GP? going 3 wins + 2 P2s in his previous five Zandvoort races.
my fave numbers is 5 & 7. I bet you think that’s because of vettel and raikkonen, and you’re right. but I also think about veratappen and piastri, and that’s quite niche for someone who has race numbers 3 & 81 current year.
Today, we officially begin our journey as the unified investment promotion agency, 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗵.

There is 0 value of Shari’ah in democratic politics. U may hate BNP and like Jamat as a an ethical or competent democratic party, but Shari’ah has no meaning. No top ranking Muslim or western country utilises religious system rather focused on development, economy. Rather, any constitutional provision of 1st world safeguards democracy from becoming another regime.
A strikingly selective framing, seemingly crafted for popular appeal : Saudi alignment with Washington is reduced to imperial complicity, Iran elevated into the heroic counterweight, and Türkiye–Israel and Pakistan–India rivalries recast as potential fault lines for Bangladesh. The subtext is as revealing as the analysis.
