If this doesnât make you want to drop everything, chase the sun, disappear somewhere by the ocean, feel alive, and say yes to every adventure that comes your way. We canât be frens.

literally anything is better with pen and paper
gets your brain firing unlike anything else
Training muscles 2x/week hurts my tendons over time
If volume is equated, piling the volume on 1x/week works better FOR ME since I have a knee and a shoulder that flare up easily
I know this because whenever Iâve taken a week off training on long surf trips the pain always goes away
You donât have to follow the high-frequency dogma
It was pushed by competitive bodybuilders getting ready for shows and thatâs a different beast than training everything 2x/week year round for a non-competitor
As always, figuring things out for yourself is the only freedom anyone really has. Use that freedom, experiment, and decide for yourself
Health is a currency thatâs meant to be spent. Ironically, many people obsessed with âbeing healthyâ avoid the very things their health was supposed to buy them. Dinner with friends, spontaneous trips, grandmaâs cookies, late nights. They hoard it like preservation is the goal. But currency doesnât gain value sitting untouched. The WHOLE value is in what it lets you do. Itâs the equivalent of working & sacrificing your entire life only to die with millions in a bank that have never been spent. Nobody calls that a win
Villagers speak in hushed tones about a pointed-head figure who lurks in the shadows - waiting, watching⊠to see if youâve been eating clean or not.
Avoid whatever that is.
Do this instead:
Incline Bench Press â 2-3 sets x 4-8
Weighted Dip â 2 sets x 6-10
Lateral Raise â 2 sets x 10-20
Tricep Isolation â 2-3 sets x 8-15
*Add weight once you reach the top end of each rep range.
**On a second upper day hit OHP.
Iâll drop a gem for the younger gentsâŠ
Koh Tao, Thailand.
The place can be a bitch to get to.
Not as accessible as many of the other thai islands. Youâll need multiple ferries/busses if coming from bangkok (no airport). Youâll also find no ubers/taxiâs (you can pay and hitch a ride on the back of the few pickup trucks). The only way to get around the island is by bike.
But these measures are extremely good at gatekeeping against olds, young families, and the typical crude tourist type.
Instead youâll get plenty of youths looking to scuba dive.
Thatâs because island itself is a beautiful + affordable hotspot for diving. So this is what attracts the many youths.
Itâs full of blondes. Australianâs, scandiâs, euros, Uk, but not the crude type youâll find in ibiza, phuket, mykonos, bali etc.
You can expect dionysian jungle parties, wine drunk sunsets, small bars. But also hidden beaches, a decent fight gym (Monsoon) and cliff jumping.
And of course, expect incredible reefs. Great place to learn if you havenât scuba dived before.
I ventured there two years ago so info might be dated.
However, frend was there recently and remarked a similar sentiment.
Itâs an info access race against time to have refuges broad enough but also not pleasant or accessible to certain elements âŠsame with the internet tbhâŠand now itâs worse than the Tommy hillfigger and cognac thing âŠnot only with re to global south new rich but also disgusting normalfags from first world proliferating both in travel nooks and online
