This is the final form of the Smart Doll guy revival.
He’s definitely not going to be everyone’s cup of tea—which is actually great, because we wouldn’t be able to keep up with demand if everyone wanted him.
There will be a number of caveats with his release, all of which I’ll be fully transparent about so that folks can make an informed purchase decision.
To start with, he features a full soft body, which is better suited to the Evolve frame enabling a wider range of articulation. This design also makes inserting the shoulders a bit easier, as you can grip the frame inside for better leverage.
We’re aiming for a Q2 release.

The G10 guy mold is finally complete, and we’re now prototyping different face designs, starting with this first one. The design seems to be inspired by Zayne from the game Love and Deepspace, and it looks like we may also see designs influenced by the other three main characters—Xavier, Rafayel, and Sylus. We chose this game because… well, the ladies on the team have been enjoying it! ;-)
After being on ice for a while, the guy molds are undergoing maintenance, and we’ll be launching with the Macho body style. While we’ve been working on a new body sculpt, that project is on hold due to complications with electroplating—something I’ll cover in a separate post.
Our next step is to cast human skin tones for the guy bodies and conduct further testing with the Evolve frame to ensure it provides a better experience than the previous rocket punch body.
As always, we don’t want to rush development, so we want to set expectations that the release will likely be in Q2 2025. In the meantime, we’re hoping to create more character designs and some apparel for the guys—because right now, all they have is… a trollface sticker.
I’m thinking of going for apocalyptic garment designs, similar to those in The Maze Runner series.
