WHEN THE CHURCH BECOMES A BUSINESS
1) Pastors function like CEOs
2) Members are turned into customers
3) Other churches are seen as competitions
4) Evangelism is reduced to marketing
5) Church planting looks more like franchising.
6) Numbers are primary measure of success
It takes faith to say, “God, I feel afraid. I’m intimidated. I don’t see how I can do this, but if You say I can, then I’m going to get in agreement with you and believe that I can.” That’s when you’ll discover talent, ability, courage, favor that you’ve never seen.
If you build your life on truth, you have the key to freedom and abundance. And if you build your life on a lie, all you're going to have is doubt, devastation, and destruction.
@twiztidmagic Often with time you find that your prayer not being answered was the best possible answer you could have ever received. God can take even that which the enemy intended for evil and turn it around for good. Jesus said "In this world you will have trouble, fear not I have overcome"
Where are you doubting God? In your finances, your family, or a victory over a bad habit?
God has everything in control. All we need to do is trust him and give all of our worries over to Him, because He will take care of us.
@twiztidmagic Dear MGCX yes prayer is a form of worship, we do not only pray for a victory but we pray from a place of Victory. The power and the privilege in prayer is that we get to approach an almighty God and receive the answer to a problem he has already solved.
We ask that you join us in prayer for believers in Christ Jesus in Afghanistan, we pray and ask in Jesus Name Father God that the gospel will continue to spread in that country and we ask Lord Jesus that you will supernaturally protect and guide your children in that country.
If you, then, being evil [that is, sinful by nature], know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask and continue to ask Him!”
Luke 11:13 AMP
Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses].
Hebrews 11:1 AMP
For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
Jeremiah 29:11 AMP
To renew your mind is to involve yourself in the process of allowing God to bring to the surface the lies you’ve mistakenly accepted and replace them with truth. To the degree that you do this, your behavior—and your entire life—will be completely transformed.
And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise.
Hebrews 11:11 NIV
Today let our focus be on Him who made the promise rather than on our abilities or potential to attain it.
