They will run a contrast CT scan to know how to move forward and address the bleeding. Currently he is also undergoing blood transfusion because his hemoglobin levels have gone down.

Winston has been admitted in the hospital since Monday afternoon. He has been having fever, desaturations, and bleeding in his trachea, and was officially admitted for pneumonia. Since then he has been responding well to the antibiotics. However, today, we had a close call. (1/3)

He was in critical condition from ~2pm-3pm. O2 went as low as 30% and he was even unresponsive for a time. Doctors said pulmonary wise he is ok, but the bleeding in his trachea is what’s making his vitals crash. (2/3)

We praise God Winston is back home after spending 15 days in the hospital. Yet another story of God’s faithfulness in our lives as He kept us (Winston, every one in the family, and our caring nurses) all strong enough to get through this. All glory to the One. ☝️

We rushed Winston to the hospital yesterday at ~1:30AM because he had difficulty breathing. He is positive for COVID and is now quarantined in the hospital with his 2 nurses. Please pray for his healing, their protection, and His provision and mercies. 🙏

Unfortunately, we failed to take pictures with these friends we have not seen in the last 2 years, but our hearts surely captured these moments. 💗 Thank you Lord for the blessings of friends. 🙏

Winston has had slight fever and unstable O2% since Tuesday. Praise God today he is better and was able to see some good friends who came to visit. 🙏

Praise God we were able to get 3 more oxygen tanks for Winston. 🙏 Thank you for the blessing of family, friends, and loved ones who are always willing to lend us a helping hand. 🙏

Lord, we pray that issues on oxygen supply around the metro be fixed soon. We are unable to refill oxygen tanks for Winston’s needs and we can’t imagine how much more difficult to those who have lesser choices. Into your hands, we entrust these challenges. 🙏

Winston is now fine and free of fever. 🙏 Doctor said that he had an early case of pneumonia, but thanks to the hands and care of our private duty nurses, we were able to stop it from worsening. Praise God! 🙏

Winston desaturated twice in the past 5 days (~70% O2 stat and ~30-40 HR) with high HR, high breathing rate, and on-off fever. We rapid tested him and thankfully he is negative for covid. Please include him in your prayers for healing and recovery. 🙏

Our Father, we thank you for the past week for your protection, guidance and provision with Winston’s admission. Once again, You have proven you are Jehovah-Jireh.

We believe you are also Jehovah-Rapha. We look forward to Winston’s healing; there is nothing impossible with You.

Winston is for discharge today. Praise God for smooth trache and peg tubes replacement! Please pray for safe transition from hospital to home. 🙏

Thank you, Lord! Winston’s in hospital already. There were some hiccups with the ambulance and admissions, but he is cleared for tracheostomy tube replacement at 7am and peg tube replacement at 9am. Praying for smooth procedures 🙏
