If you think that you (or someone you know) might have a call to the Dominicans, don't hesitate to reach out! You can find more info about both our provinces at https://t.co/UjaLqyGDTn.
Our provinces have been blessed with a growing number of men entering the Order. This is great coverage by @PillarCatholic about what's drawing men to religious life, including some insight from Fr. Carl Joseph Paustain, OP of @OPsouth.
With more than 200 men’s religious communities in the U.S., only 153 men in 2023 entered religious formation — leaving numerous communities with few men in formation, or none at all.

Happy Good Shepherd Sunday! Did you know Pope Leo XIV started his novitiate in St. Louis, MO? Immaculate Conception is only a couple blocks away from where our student brothers study!
O Lord, remember your servant Francis, whom you have called today from this world to yourself.
Grant that he who was united with your Son in a death like his, may also be one with him in his Resurrection.
Every January, the student brothers go on retreat before the hustle and bustle of the semester begins - the winter storm coming through St. Louis won't stop us!
Let us know if you have any prayer requests, and we'll be praying for them while we're on retreat.
School is back in session!
Our friars are back at Aquinas Institute and St. Louis University, studying theology and philosophy as part of the process of Dominican formation.
Please keep us and our studies in your prayers!
The mission to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ never ends.
It is a mission we Dominicans have sworn ourselves to do for more than 800 years and which will endure for ages to come
The primary encounter with Christ occurs in the liturgy where personal, social, and universal realities meet in the Body of Christ and in our worship of God.
Some of our wonderful Dominican Sisters are hosting a discernment retreat from July 2-July 8 in Justice, IL.
Help the sisters out by 1) sharing and spreading the word 2) praying for a successful retreat
Yesterday I was told I didn’t look like a typical Dominican friar. When I looked quizzical the speaker explained saying that I didn’t seem nerdy; little does she know...
This weekend we celebrate the Ordination of three men to the priesthood of Jesus Christ.
Three more pairs of hands which will bring healing and hope and the Eucharist to those they minister to at the altar.
How have their lives, hands, and hearts brought you hope and healing?
I pray the Rosary daily, but about once per week, I head to the Church to pray the Rosary, get there, reach into my pocket and think, “I forgot my Rosary!”
Moments later, I remember I’m a Dominican with a 15-decade Rosary on my belt.
