It’s funny seeing Knicks fans slowly realize that nobody cares about their Championship. It changed nothing. Nobody outside NYC has Brunson top 5. Nobody has him in any all-time talks. Nobody has him in “best of his generation” talks with Jokic SGA Giannis or Embiid. And everybody already knows he’s not winning another one so he’ll never make it to those talks.
He doesn’t have the motion/too ugly to be a cover athlete. All the celebrity bandwagons and people who pretended to care have left by now. Everybody moved on to the World Cup.
Brunson will retire and kids on TikTok will call him ball knowledge within 5 years. I almost feel bad. Literally all they got out of this was “No Larry?”

The older I get, the less I care about 100-hour games.
Give me a 10–20 hour game with a great story, memorable characters, and an ending I’ll actually reach.
“Men are natural leaders” until it’s time to plan dates or do chores and then it’s just “tell me what you want, make me a list, tell me what you need me to do”

Dwight Howard says a $61 million NBA contract can be cut to about $30 million after taxes
“The taxes are what break you first. Our tax bracket was 51%.”
“We get taxed in every city we play, then your agent takes 2–4%, marketing takes another 10–15%, and all of those percentages come before you ever see the money.”
Joe Smith added that after taxes, a $61 million contract is reduced to about $29–30 million, before other expenses are deducted.
It would take something REAL for the Lakers to want to trade Bronny James, per @khobi_price
“They developed him, they’re a fan of him, and he has A LOT of supporters in the building."
