@UTDTrey@LiamKing07 People should be able to recognize the symptoms of Arsenal Derangement Syndrome.
It’s makes people to be intentionally silly like Trump Derangement Syndrome.
League title is a league title regardless of the rebranding done by the FA for sponsorship purposes.
@footballontnt Probably one of the reason Arsenal will never sign him.
Defensive structure and Discipline won Arsenal the league.
A player that lacks both will be a huge liability and weakest link to the Team.
@kelechi_eze1 The Arsenal media team is actually cooking and will be singing his praises as well as the team success.
It’s going to be an interesting season both on field and in the media
In hindsight they were afraid of eating the humble pie and their own vomit hence why they want him sacked at all cost.
The other elephant in the room is Arteta became the first former EPL player to win the league as a Manager.
You will never find anyone in the industry to talk about this or amplify it like they usually do in bantering or mocking him.
Imagine if it was Gerald that won the league for Liverpool, Garrick with Manu or Lampard with Chelsea?
The official EPL website all top media platforms and would be running a daily campaign of this record like England just won the second World Cup.
They hated him more for what he can become in the future and as God will have it, he will achieve much more as we are currently in his era.
@footyinsider247 The right answer is not even included as an option.
Tuchel midfield is an open secret as well as his front 3.
Attack: Gordon/Kane/SAKA
Midfield: Rice/Anderson/Rogers.
Defense:
This can be tricky but you expect James, Guehi, Konsa and Pickford to start.
Interesting stats from @AFC_Monty_ for Arteta at Arsenal in his 6 full seasons.
1. Lost the league with best attack in all his seasons 2023/2024
2. Won the league in 2025/2026 with best defense and discipline in his 6th season.
Imagine what will happen with the best attack, the best defense and the best discipline?
But what is Ind?
😀😀
@AFTVMedia "We hate Arsenal because of their fans" is one of the iconic lies in human history similar to Democrats calling Trump Hitler and a Nazi.
The people saying this and the Arsenal fans listening to it both know its all lies.
Big chances created is the highest in all the 6 seasons.
Which player created the most of these big chances and which player missed most of these big chances chances?
The attack unit that was heavily criticized all season actually performed well in terms of chances created and goals scored.
They could have done more no doubt but were not as terrible as amplified by the media and rival fans noises.
Just a simple pass to either Noni or Gyokeres and he just messed it up.
Havertz blocked shot in the last minutes of the 1st half was even more frustrating.
Very painful to watch the replays or highlights as we have more than enough opportunities to win the game without the penalty shoot out.
The players just did not execute any of these moments.
Perhaps the FA consider changing the name to SuperCup and change the trophy from a service tray to a real trophy.
The Community Shield is a massive demarketing of the cup and why most EPL fans tend to look at with such disdain and denigration.
Though I know it’s because of their Arsenal Derangement Syndrome. We saw it with Wenger winning the Top4 and how it’s celebrated now.
SAF vs PEP: Who is your GOAT?
Not a Manchester United or City fan so I don’t have to be biased or subjective with my views.
There are several undisputed metrics that makes it bit difficult to compare both managers due to the era they both played in, the quality of the football, competitiveness of the league, actual roles and responsibilities assigned (SAF was managing the club and not just the team) officiating rules, media coverage, fans scrutiny with social media and available financial resources.
Essentially, Pep had massive advantage over SAF as he never had to build any team from the scratch, held higher responsibilities of managing the club, or be in title races with 3/4 highly competitive teams not only in EPL but in Europe.
SAF won the league with various versions of Manu teams ( highly quality, good and average teams) and he did this competing against very good and highly skilled oppositions.
Pep is a very good coach and probably one of the greatest of all managers based on total titles won and how successful he has been in the 3 clubs he worked but guys like SAF, Wenger etc are not only generational but visionary, evolutionary and ahead of the curve.
Nothing wrong in putting both men in this conversation but very difficult to compare and if we must define the metrics for comparison, SAF is mikes ahead for me.
The Overlap Team have an ongoing debate on this.

A 21yr old with over 3 years professional career playing in the league should not be considered a young player anymore.
It’s says a lot about the youth development of the league and English players.
Young player award should ideally be awarded to young players having their breakthrough season in 16-20 year old age group.
There are young players in the Championship and other national leagues that should be more deserving but this also shows that the English league players only vote for EPL players.
Hmmmmmm.
This looks so familiar when a divestment plan is being implemented.
Regardless of the outcome of the 130 crimes, the group value have increased significantly since the take over and selling now will be massive returns on their investments.
But why sell now? Points deduction and Relegation won’t destroy the enterprise value but just bad media, reputational damage and brand equity erosion that can be restored after a few years.
But interesting to see how this pans out this summer. One thing is certain though, the 130 criminal charges verdict will be announced and I suspect it’s not likely to favour Mancity.
