March 2024. International woman's day. I remember teaching with secondary school girls 'How to be a great learner."
This reminds me of my deep love for Education in Africa. I want to do more of this.
There's room for so much more impact!

I shared a story about how I got a D in basic electronics back in high school yet I'm now getting my degree BSC. Physics with Electronics
Little beginnings...
Honoured to join @UN at the historic launch of the Global Dialogue on AI Governance at #UNGA80. We need a path that empowers local builders, including Africa's.
Proud to represent @ReachIndus and @awarritech, grateful for the Nigerian and UK ecosystems that shaped my journey.
If you're a knowledgeable person with ideas and experience worth sharing, I honestly have no idea why you haven't started a YouTube channel yet.
Starting mine has been one of the most rewarding things I've done in my life.
I get to teach physics, math, and promote engineering to young people; and in return, millions of people across 200+ countries get to learn those topics for free! It's a win-win.
I’ve been stopped by students at Caltech, MIT, and even at my workplace (NASA JPL). Some said they liked the videos. Some said they made them choose engineering. And a few said the videos single-handedly helped them get into their dream school or job.
I get hundreds of comments a day from people around the world, and it never gets old. It keeps me going!
The crazy part?
It only takes 1–2 hours a week.
No editing. No fancy setup. Just a chalkboard, my iPhone, and me talking to my front camera (usually at 2am).
So again: if you have something worth sharing, please share it. Do not hoard your knowledge.
YouTube is still early. The algorithm doesn’t care about credentials or camera quality. It cares about value. A small channel can blow up in a week.
If you're not sure what to post, just ask yourself:
What’s something I can’t shut up or stop thinking about? What's something I am dying to find people to talk to about? Is that useful to someone?
Once you find that, pick up your phone and make your first video. It might be your first step towards changing millions of lives.
Know what's worse than a lack of feedback?
Learning the wrong lessons from current feedback.
With no feedback, there's a broken loop. It can be fixed.
But,
With wrong feedback, you've got an endless cycle of learning that leads you to burnout town!
Try many things but not at the same time.
If you chase two rabbits, you'll catch none.
> Pick one rabbit and run for it.
> Leave other rabbits on hold.
> Build small and steady habits around those rabbits.
Overall keep your laser eyes on a single rabbit.

Read those goals again.
You think you've got it together in your head?
No, you don't.
You are just veering away in confusion and distraction.

@AidanHelfant Well, I just started reading the book but I'm so interested in understanding the type of practice that leads to real skill development.
And I will apply it directly to programming
This is my first time spending close to $20 on an ebook.
I was lucky to even get to buy it.
Invest in yourself.
You're worth it!
Your future self will thank you.
