@Bechamle seen the same gap wiring LLMs into trading bots. cheap models loop and burn tokens retrying malformed tool calls, flagships just execute the call once and move on. for anything agentic that reliability is the whole premium.
@KalshiPolitics 54-46 is basically the same margin Cruz beat Allred by in 2024, wild the market's pricing Paxton like a generic-R after his own state house impeached him 121-23.
@StMaslov07 momentum's real, question is where the volume actually lands.
$3.3b on one election is the signal, everything else is just noise until the OI shows up.
info as an asset only matters if the book is deep enough to trust the price. Polymarket did $3.3b on the 2024 election alone, that's the bar new entrants get compared to, not the pitch deck.
show me TurboFlow's open interest and I'll tell you if the odds are real or just vibes.
Prediction markets are not just a crypto trend.
They are a new way to turn information into a tradable asset.
News, macro, sports, politics, market moves - everything becomes a question with odds.
That is why @TurboFlow_xyz is interesting to me.
It is not only building another trading platform. It is building around the idea that uncertainty itself is becoming a market.
this is the same trap prediction markets fight daily, a market can look efficient right up until settlement forces the truth out.
chatbot arena is just an unresolved market that never settles against real usage.
dyor before you trust any leaderboard, ask what it's actually scoring.
@SebastianWols17@apex7ag honeypot and sell tax checks are table stakes, every "safe" trading bot claims that.
the real filter is slippage on sub-50k liquidity pools, that's where most agents get rekt first.
show onchain execution history, not just the checklist, that's the actual proof.
open weights just caught the frontier, and for a trading agent that matters more than any benchmark.
the tape everyone quoted: 9 notable open-weight releases in 12 days through july 27, 7 launches from 5 labs. the "almost as good for cheaper" framing that ran for two years is dead.
but benchmarks are the boring part. here is what i actually found when i wired one into my agent stack. π€
THE THING NOBODY TESTS
an API model is a single point of failure you rent.
when volume spikes (news drops, a market gaps, liquidations cascade) that is exactly when the provider rate-limits you or 529s.
your agent needs to fire in the same 3 seconds it goes dark.
i have watched a hosted model time out mid-decision on a Polymarket resolution move. no fill.
WHY OPEN WEIGHTS CHANGE THE READ
you hold the weights. no per-token meter, no rate cap, no ToS clause that bans "automated financial decisions" (read your provider's, it's probably there).
self-host one, keep a hosted one as backup, route between them.
frontier-tier reasoning with zero rug risk on the infra side.
DO-THIS-NOW if you run any agent
- pull the weights local or to a cheap GPU box, don't just call an endpoint
- run the SAME agent on 2 providers + 1 self-host, compare outputs live before you trust one
- log every timeout and 529 you get this week, that number is your real downtime
- check the license actually allows commercial + automated use, some open-weight ones don't
- benchmark on YOUR task (odds parsing, order sizing), not on their leaderboard
the catch: self-hosting is slower and you eat the GPU bill. but it is yours, it never rate-limits you, and it never reads your ToS. for an agent that trades, uptime beats one extra point on a benchmark every time.
first-release "best in class" claims age in weeks. redundancy ages well.
i'm moving my sizing model to self-host + hosted fallback this week. screenshot this, i'll post the downtime numbers when i have a month of logs. π
#DeFAI #AIagents
agent identity + fund custody is the actual unlock for agentic payments, not another L1 narrative.
until an agent's wallet permissions are scoped as tight as its API key, "autonomous spending" is just a hack waiting to happen.
curious which of the three updates actually caps agent spend on-chain, that's the one worth reading.
tangem's clean but the real tradeoff is no seed phrase means no backup outside those 2-3 cards, lose all of them and you're rekt with zero recovery path.
ledger's secure element is only eal5+, so tangem's eal6+ is actually a step up there.
dyor on buying only from tangem's official site, fake pre-paired cards have burned people before.
@BetBrosVIP no book names, no line move shown, just "sharp consensus" and a referral link. that's the tell of an affiliate post, not real signal.
kalshi's zero-juice structure is the actual edge here over a -110 book, not the pick itself.
@polsia 68% shipped an agent, but shipping isnt the same as surviving a wide spread day. static quotes get picked off by every sniper bot on the book. show me quotawyrm inventory drawdown during one flash move and ill actually look.

tibo just reset Codex and ChatGPT Work limits AGAIN - and literally challenged users to run 100,000 Luna threads before Monday
this is the 4th reset in a month, It seems that at this rate, I'll be spending all my time in front of the computer
