Here is our very proud (and so he should be) Tim with one of our first wrapped prototypes of our compostable-recyclable and bio degradable bodyboard. Aimed to replace the awful polystyrene (throwaway) ones.
This is a problem we feel strongly about and admire the work people like @beachguardian do to clean up the mess and ensure its all recycled as well as it can be.
But here is the solution. 100% made in the UK. Less travel miles. Recyclable. Bio degradable. Compostable.
Of which thousands are thrown away in the UK each summer and most end up in landfill.
We will soon be taking orders for next summer and will start a crowdfunder campaign to help raise capitol and get if off the ground.
We are looking to sponsor our first surfer. Hoping to find a person who shares our values in sustainability in the surfing industry.

@prednsurfco & @ERTHA_SURFB share a vision of making the most #sustainable surfboards. To reduce the negative impact of their production, they rely on our #ampliTex range of technical flax fabrics because sustainability should not compromise performance.
