True spirituality demands you question every belief, every narrative, every convenient truth — and then turn inward for guidance.
It doesn't hide behind love.
When Dharma calls, it stands up and fights.
When God loves us, He puts us through trials.
When parents love their children, they don't agree to every wrong demand.
They stop them from going astray — because they love them.
You don't have to be a conspiracy theorist to recognize that not everyone wants India to succeed.
So the question I want to leave you with is the same one I asked myself years ago when someone told me I would never amount to anything.
And make no mistake, there are forces, both internal and external, that understand this perfectly well. Distracting a nation's youth from their potential is one of the oldest and most effective ways to slow a country's rise.
India's greatest strength right now is its young population. That demographic advantage is real and it is time-sensitive. Youth that channels its energy into building careers, businesses, ideas and institutions creates a nation that is hard to stop.
This brings me to something that concerns me more broadly. I genuinely believed that each generation would grow more logical, more strategic, more focused. But when I see young people investing their energy into movements built on reaction rather than construction, I worry
If the goal of this movement is to prove the judge wrong, adopting that image wholesale seems like a strange way to do it.
The more productive question would have been: what can we build that makes that insult laughable on its own?
But there is a crucial difference between reclaiming an insult with dignity& purpose, literally organizing your identity around being a pest. A cockroach, by definition, is something that survives by troubling others, scurrying in corners, resisting every attempt at progress.
Now, I'll acknowledge that reclaiming an insult can sometimes be a powerful act. History has examples of marginalized groups owning a slur and stripping it of its power. There is a psychology to it that isn't entirely without merit.
