.@getpostman is now natively available in your favorite coding agent!
The new Postman CLI is designed to bring API engineering for agents:
1️⃣ Works in Git and your code repo - Just drop Postman where your agent lives and works.
2️⃣ No GUI - Work in your coding agent. Bring up the Postman UI for review and approval.
3️⃣ No sign-up - Get started right away. Sign-up when you have to save your work and want more.
Install once, work in your agent. Run npm install -g postman-cli, then postman init. This loads Postman's skills into your coding agent so it can create collections, write tests, and much more. Available as a plugin for all coding agents!
The skills cover the API lifecycle: find APIs your org already has, generate tests that catch regressions, mock an API before it exists, watch live endpoints for downtime and drift, run checks in CI on every commit, and run performance tests.
You can also extend the abilities of your agent with the Context Graph. An agent often sees only the code that is accessible to them. The Context Graph API gives it a map of your team's infrastructure, APIs, and services, and how they depend on each other.
As your agent works, you stay the reviewer. Your agent does the work from the command line. Open Postman when you want to review or approve it.

The new Claude Sonnet 4.6 is now live on @getpostman Agent Mode!
Anthropic's newest Sonnet model brings major upgrades to planning, reasoning, and code generation tasks.
Last week we tried something new at Postman: a weekly livestream called "Beyond the Build", where we shared live demos on what the team shipped in the past week.
With things moving so fast, we wanted to go direct and let our users see what's new. And this is how we build internally -- each week we hold a demo session where everyone in the company can see what the team is working on.
Week number two will go live at 10am PST tomorrow, with more updates from the team: https://t.co/9lB5hmcGEo
Excited to announce Agent Mode at POST/CON today!
With Agent Mode, we are bringing the power of agents right alongside everything that you do in Postman.
Agent Mode is a conversational agent that is connected to all the tooling that you can access in Postman - like sending requests, making collections, writing tests, and more. It can actually do everything that a user can do in Postman.
With Agent Mode, you can debug requests instantly, build automated tests, combine context from different services, or build new workflows.
Agent Mode will also be extendable with the power of APIs and MCPs to everything else in the world. Our MCP Server generation feature is coming to Private APIs soon so you can build an MCP Server and hook it up to Agent Mode right away.
Rolling out soon to all Postman users and customers! Drop in feedback in the comments or ping for access!
I had an incredible time moderating the AI panel at the POSTCON Conference from @getpostman. We covered a range of topics from choosing a model to what's next. A huge shoutout to my amazing panelists: @shiryehoshua, @janescowcroft, and @sherwinwu.
You can now simulate real-world traffic on your local machine to performance test your APIs.
And it’s available on Postman’s free plan.
Here’s how (in 4 simple steps):
@madsvasbjoern @NikkiSiapno Hey, we support sending WebSocket requests and gRPC on VS code. We are looking at adding support to save them into a collection soon - feel free to create a feature request for what you would want to see on our GitHub issue tracker: https://t.co/aPMviNNmSI
Wish you could test your API without leaving the code editor?
Postman’s new VS Code extension lets you do exactly that!
Check it out: https://t.co/pAqYJNBits
@samoye95@NikkiSiapno@getpostman@GetInsomnia IntelliJ is one of the extensions we are looking at, we should have more info on this soon! For now we are focusing on VS code - but do add a feature request on our tracker . We track and prioritize based on our community needs https://t.co/aPMviNNmSI
Excited to announce the general availability of Postman Flows and to move one step closer to our vision of 100 million builders! Postman Flows gives you the power of an infinite canvas, a drag-and-drop no-code environment, powered by the hundreds of thousands of APIs available on the Public API Network. Through Flows, you can build workflows, automations, dashboards, or fully deployable API applications quickly.
Flows is powered by generative AI for data transformation and conditional workflows to lower the barrier for non-developers as well.

@roach_iam@getpostman Hey, that is weird. Can you write to us at [email protected] so that we can take a closer look. Would be great if you can share the collection name and the workflow in the ticket as well.
The next generation of software development is here—Postman Flows 🎉. With Postman Flows, anyone can connect APIs to build workflows, integrations, and more in a visual and collaborative environment. #BuiltWithPostman@shamasis shares all the details: https://t.co/8BVc48uXsb
