जीवन से भरपूर, कुछ अच्छा करने की उम्मीद लिए अपने घर से दूर जाकर, सरकार की मदद से पढ़ाई करने गए एक नौजवान की इस देश में, इस व्यवस्था में हत्या हो जाती है. उसने ऐसा क्या किया था कि उस से जीने का हक़ छीन लिया गया? कौन लोग इसके लिये ज़िम्मेदार हैं?

2014 से लेकर 31 अक्तूबर 2022 तक कुल 12,46,414 लोगों ने भारत की नागरिकता छोड़ दी… बताया गया कि 2014 के बाद ‘अच्छे दिन’ आ गए…देश ‘अमृत काल’ में चल रहा है. फिर इतनी बड़ी तादाद में लोग देश छोड़ कर क्यों जा रहे हैं? क्यों नागरिकता छोड़ रहे हैं…

साल 2014 में हर रोज औसतन 43 दिहाड़ी मजदूर, 22 विद्यार्थी, 27 बेरोज़गार और 27 पेशेवर और सवेतनी कर्मचारियों ने खुदकुशी की थी. 2021 तक ख़ुदकुशी का यह आंकड़ा बढ़ कर हर रोज औसतन क्रमशः 115, 36, 38 और 43 तक पहुंच गया…
