@utb_smith I accompanied my wife to a Take That concert in Sunderland a couple of weeks ago (not usually my thing - I’m more of a rugby league guy than music concerts), but have to admit they put on a spectacularly good show.
@DebraMorganR@KennyGr61411855 I had to accompany my wife to a Take That concert in Sunderland a couple of weeks ago (not my thing - I’m more of a rugby league guy than music concerts), but have to admit they put on a damned good show.
@elsathora@pchapman24 Stay in London until the 30th May and you’ll see even more shirts to make you feel safe - those of the mighty Hull Kingston Rovers, who will be making their defence of the Rugby League Challenge Cup at Wembley.
@utb_smith@jimthegiant The mention of Wigan Warriors put me off straight away. Farage had probably never heard of rugby league until he was prompted to mention that lot.
@BlondiieMama@HullCity Could be a great month for Hull. Hull City to win promotion on the 23rd at Wembley, then the mighty Hull Kingston Rovers to win the Rugby League Challenge Cup at Wembley on the 30th May. Fingers & toes crossed!
@porkoHKR@hullkrofficial Cheers. So you’re Patrick’s son! I bumped into Keith & Neil away vs London Broncos a few years ago, but rarely get to see Rovers now as I live quite a distance from Hull (as I have done since 1972!). Good to see you are all well, up the Robins!
@porkoHKR@hullkrofficial I used to go to Rovers back in the 1960s/early 70s with a mate called Keith Hamlet when we both lived down Queens Road in Beverley. Any relation?
@Sam_Knight18 I’ve been a RL supporter since 1967 (HKR) and am always grateful to players, no matter their club, who put their bodies on the line for our entertainment. Wishing for, or enjoying, injury to any player is despicable.
@SuzieWo20886208 Charcoal biscuits help in reducing flatulence. They pair well with mature cheddar too. Make sure you get ones with food grade charcoal though. Consuming industrial charcoal will make you wish you were directly under the blast 🙂.
@SuzieWo20886208 Indeed, and the same applies to Pete Ham of Badfinger, one of George’s ‘go to’ guitarists for expert support (e.g. concert for Bangla Desh etc.).
@BlondiieMama@icod I ride a motorcycle and it is considered good form to nod or wave at other bikers when passing in opposite directions. I cannot seem to control this practice when driving the car and passing a bike. My wife thinks I have a screw loose. She may be right.
@DebraMorganR@DarrenA2833 Hence why Wigan Warriors Rugby League club supporters are known as ‘pie eaters’ amongst the rest of us in the rugby league community 🙂.
