Saw someone say, “Women were told to put their keys between their fingers to protect themselves, and then cars stopped having keys.” And honestly… I’d never thought about it like that.
No closure is closure. But disappearing without an explanation, leaving things unclear and unfinished, is one of the dirtiest ways to treat someone. and perhaps the greatest form of disrespect.
@_brownie0_ I think no matter what a person looks like, their sexual orientation, and what clothes they wear is irrelevant to their love & devotion to god. If you ask this woman to leave your church, it speaks volumes about your character & your devotion and love for God.
I once asked my mom why she divorced my dad. She told me, “I was sick all week, and one morning your dad woke me up asking what I was making for breakfast. I told him I felt awful and needed sleep. He made breakfast for himself and never asked if I wanted anything.” It wasn’t the breakfast, she said. It was realizing that if she didn’t take care of herself, nobody would notice. That stayed with me. I realized people rarely leave because of one terrible moment. Sometimes they leave because of a thousand tiny moments that quietly convince them they’re alone.
@An0rexik Yes! Went through this with one of my exes. And he had the audacity to get mad & get defensive when I brought up “Carol” as one of the many reasons to end the relationship. In the year that I dated him it was “Carol” this and “Carol” that.
Please date someone who actually wants to experience life with you. Not just dinner & sex. I’m taking Museums, cooking classes, festivals, pottery, concerts, bookstores, road trips, random adventures.. EVERYTHING.
@European_HQ I think this is genius! And she should be praised instead of criticized. Her number one priority was the children’s safety and this action proves that. I think the ones that are criticizing, obviously don’t have children because if you did, you would know how they like to wonder.
@juniper_vtuber Yes! I have. Being raised by a black man made me feel extremely guilty about how I am treated vs how he was treated. Growing up in a small town where racism still exists… it was hard to watch. I could walk any where without the hate. Some days, he couldn’t even walk into the 🏪
