the need to constantly be in the know is unhealthy and ultimately leads to unhappiness. there is something freeing about remaining rooted in your soil and focusing on you. you gain nothing by monitoring their bloom when there are flowers in your own garden that need tending to.

Some people would rather create a facade that they are authentic than to just be authentic. Because when you are authentic and allow people to truly see you, they will also your flaws and imperfections. And this can seem unsafe. But true safety can only come from being yourself.
