YATEK (Yakut Fuel and Energy Company) today officially announced the suspension of the "Yakut LNG" project with a capacity of 17.7 million tons per year, which was planned on the coast of the Sea of Okhotsk.

The reason for stopping the project is the recently introduced sanctions from the United States, which have sharply complicated the supply of equipment, financing, and sales of LNG*.

LNG – liquefied natural gas.

The budget for "Yakut LNG" was estimated at 30-35 billion USD or about 39.2 billion euros according to another official estimate, while the potential gross currency revenue at full capacity of 17.7 million tons/year could amount to approximately 10-13 billion USD per year.

Міністр національної єдності України Олексій Чернишов не повернувся з офіційного закордонного відрядження, попри вручення підозр його колишнім підлеглим.

Чернишов дистанційно взяв участь у своєму форумі.

Поїздка чиновника збіглася з моментом, коли НАБУ та САП оголосили про підозри кільком його колишнім підлеглим із Міністерства регіонального розвитку та НАК «Нафтогаз України» у справі по корупції. Сам Чернишов тоді вже перебував за кордоном.

Якщо не повернеться, то це повний провал кадрової політики.
