Those bits of pregnancy and motherhood that no one ever tells you about...

Weaning 101: don’t dress the baby for the day before breakfast....

[Mama C @pregnancy_truth]

First night away from the baby... she wasn’t happy enough to see me when I returned. Now sulking in the corner. #6monthsold #nightaway

[Mama C @pregnancy_truth]

My baby can only get to sleep with part of my body in her mouth. Anyone else find this weird yet amazing? #breastfeeding #miracle

[Mama C @pregnancy_truth]

The way my baby’s eyes roll back when I feed her . I wish I enjoyed anything that much! #breastfeeding #5monthsold

[Mama C @pregnancy_truth]

@thatchamdad No.

[Mama C @pregnancy_truth]

No periods for months when you BF they said. 4 weeks. FOUR WEEKS and my period came back.

[Mama C @pregnancy_truth]

@mumproject I’d love to be having sex but it appears my partner is no longer interested. Yay.

I think this unfair conduct needs sorting @SlugHarpo
Frankly disgusted at what I've read.

Breastfeeding...otherwise known as the magic sleep button.#breastfeeding #breastfeedingrules

[Mama C @pregnancy_truth]

Record tonight..daddy held baby for a full 16minutes before asking for help. I was pooing. I had already eaten and cleaned the kitchen. #fml

[Mama C @pregnancy_truth]

Hurrah for breastfeeding. 8 week old just had her jabs, now fast asleep suckling. God knows what I'd do without it! #breastfeeding

[Mama C @pregnancy_truth]

Good god I'm in love. #babyfeet #8weeksold

[Mama C @pregnancy_truth]

Best next to bed crib? Turns out the baby loves being near me... who knew 😹

Life with a newborn:discussing your child via whatsapp whilst one of you eats frantically and the other gets the baby to sleep... #newborn

All hail @johnlewisretail parent rooms with comfy nooks for breast/bottle feeding. Saved my life the other day! #breastfeeding #retailhero

[Mama C @pregnancy_truth]

What not to say to new parents: "god I'm SO tired".... REALLY?? #newparents #pblogger #newbaby

[Mama C @pregnancy_truth]

One of the least helpful things you can do for new parents. Give them piles of hand me downs stuffed into bags. Thanks. More shit to sort!

[Mama C @pregnancy_truth]

Baby startles are always pretty amusing. Unless they're attached to your boob when it happens. HOLY MOTHER OF GOD. #breastfeeding #newbaby

[Mama C @pregnancy_truth]

The bf is in the spare room so I don't get a disturbed night. The baby is in with me. I'm wondering how he thinks he's doing me a favour.
