Let us ask for the gift of peace for all people. We must say ‘no’ to rearmament and the exploitation of our common home! Instead, let us give our ‘yes’ to the encounter of peoples and cultures, and to humanity’s harmony with all creatures! #ApostolicJourney
I am happy to have spent these past few days in #PapuaNewGuinea, where the sea, mountains and tropical forests coexist. It is, above all, a young country inhabited by many young people! I bless you and accompany you with my prayers. #ApostolicJourney
I entrust Timor-Leste and all its people to the protection of Our Lady of Aitara. May she accompany and aid you always in your mission to build a free, democratic and united country, where no one feels excluded and everyone can live in peace and dignity.

John the Baptist sets his disciples in Jesus's footsteps. He is not interested in having a following for himself, but he bears witness and then takes a step back, so that many would have the joy of meeting Jesus. #GospelOfTheDay (Jn 1:29-34)
Amen!
