I once did after my Dad fl0gged and punished me for something I was innocent of... Ran from home that day and went to a nearby government school and stayed in one of the classes.

I planned on sleeping there on the floor 😅 not until midnight around 12am, I had my Dad's voice from a distant in the middle of the school shouting and calling my name. Apparently, he spent his whole day searching for me up until that midnight.

I didn't want to answer coz of fear of being flogged again but at last, I did and he ran and hugged me, asked for forgiveness and promise that he won't touch me and I should come let's go back home.
