That assumption is flawed.

You’re treating the removed 1 crore voters as if none of them voted last time, which is not true. In reality, that 1 crore would have had a mix of both voters and non-voters.

So comparing 73% (from 6.7 cr) with a higher % on 5.7 cr and saying “81% = same voters” is mathematically incorrect.

The only fair comparison is percentage turnout itself, because:

We don’t know how many of the removed voters actually voted last time
The denominator (total voters) has changed artificially

So yes, we must stick to percentage turnout, not try to reverse-calculate absolute voters like that.

Piracy is just not right. A film comes from the hard work of so many people behind the scenes. Watching it in theatres or skipping it is completely a personal choice but supporting piracy takes away from all that effort. It disrespects the art and in the long run affects the entire industry and the people who rely on it.
