Mohan Bhagwat blew our socks off in New York. As head of India’s largest volunteer organization RSS, the man knows the pulse of India at the grassroots level like no one else. He was exceptionally bullish on the US India relationship and on the resilience of Indian youth to pivot into the revolutionary new age of AI. He regaled us with many beautiful Sanskrit shlokas and left us convinced that the world is one large family : “Progress of India, must be accompanied by progress of others around us”. When traditional Indians like Mohanji talk about values, they sound a little bit socialist to be honest 😁: Vasudaiva Kutumbhakam, the environment is one with us, sustainable growth is the only way forward, and charity towards others is a divine mandate. The Madison Square Garden event is wildly oversubscribed and sold out. Ignore the naysayers and enjoy Q&A with an exceptionally open man who enjoys talking to everybody. He is simple, wise, large hearted, inclusive of everyone and deeply trusting of the power of Indian youth for taking the country forward into the new era of AI.

Had an amazing roundtable meeting with Mr. Mohan Bhagwat in NY. He fielded important questions by all of us from various industries, including telecommunications, space, clean energy, not so clean energy, technology, quantum computing etc. Of course he never speaks on behalf of the Indian government ever.. all of us wanted to know how he could help us at various state level to streamline procedures so that we could set up companies or manufacturing plants in India without bureaucratic drag. He answered brilliantly and inspired confidence in all of us that he might be able to get a few things done. Few takeaways: the man has a heart of gold, truly believes in a unified India and a unified world, he sees absolutely no difference between various religious groups. For him all Indians are “Kutumbhakam”. Family. Does he have a bias towards any particular group? Yes he does - INDIAN YOUTH. It was clear to see that he has unshakable confidence in Indian youth, and believes in the change that they are demanding. He seems to be their biggest champion in the country. Lucky for India.. 🇮🇳 🇺🇸. I have come away from the meeting 100% bullish that the Indian youth will drive change in unprecedented ways. And RSS will help them overthrow the last vestiges of colonial structures that keep India slow. Proud of my home country 🇮🇳🇮🇳. What does Mr. Bhagwat think of US ? He’s a true believer in US India friendship and bridge building.. and has promised us that he will visit us more often. 🇺🇸🇮🇳🇺🇸🇮🇳🇺🇸

Happy that US Department of Justice and US Attorney General of New Jersey have closed the 4 year investigation of labor discrimination and casteism against BAPS temple in NJ, with no charges filed.
At the same time, the severe test of character, trial by fire by big media houses like @nytimes and @NPR and a malicious witch hunt and propaganda against Hindu Institutions and Hindu religion has caused a severe long term impact.

Western academia and media exhibit a stark double standard in their treatment of world religions. Islam, with 1.9 billion adherents across 57 majority-Muslim countries, is often handled with caution, shielded by accusations of “Islamophobia” and “orientalism,” even when addressing its deficits in gender equality and democracy. Hinduism, practiced by 1.2 billion people, mainly in India, faces unrelenting scrutiny for caste and patriarchy, with little restraint. Christianity, dominant in the West with 2.4 billion followers, is critiqued openly for historical wrongs like witch burning and slavery, as well as ongoing patriarchal structures, but within a familiar cultural framework as the majority faith.
The Karachi Bakery is owned by Ramnani family, who are Hindu Sindhis. They were robbed off their wealth and forcibly chased out of Pakistan just because they were Hindu. They chose to part with their wealth but not with their dharma. They arrived in India and started from scratch. They have donated generously to philanthropic organizations. They also donated to Ayodhya Ram Mandir.
Sindhis are devout Hindus and patriotic Indians. Please leave them alone. Attacking Sindhis but clapping for Owaisi reveals our utter intellectual bankruptcy.

Starting off the New Year 2025 with a workshop for Hindu Yuva in Stouffville, Ontario. My topic was Hindu Identity in the Digital Domain.
It's always a blast working with students and young adults and by the end of it they were all creating their own reels and video shorts. I think I need to add some high school students to my team - they provided great insight into how teenagers consume social media.
I have been quiet on social media the last 2 months due to travel and a job change and I'm happy that my first reel back is a workshop with @HinduYUVAUSA
It's small things done daily that help to pass on the values and traditions of our ancestors.
