4 ACRES OF POPPY CULTIVATION DESTROYED IN CHURACHANDPUR

A joint team of Churachandpur Police, NAB, DFO, and 37 AR destroyed approximately 4 acres of illicit poppy cultivation at Haopi Mollen hill range of Churachandpur district.

While no arrests were made, 10 poppy pods were seized, and formalities were completed at Sangaikot Police Station. The yield, estimated at 12 kg if harvested, highlights the importance of such actions in the War on Drugs.

Why are so many Congress party @INCIndia workers involved in aggressive one sided disinformation campaigns in the Manipur Crisis?

Is it a sign of the Congress Party’s love of peace, harmony and development in the country, Manipur in particular?

Or are these profiles deliberately using the party’s name to promote themselves, which is unlikely as they are also followed by a Kuki Congress party leader @DrLamtinthangHk from Manipur who also do even more disinformation campaigns! Such disinformation campaigns by Congress party workers will only help in recalling the historical legacy the party has left in Manipur! Since Manipur was merged into India, just name anything that the Manipuris are anguished about, you will see it all happened during Congress rule, the latest significant one being the signing of the SOO agreement with Kuki militants, the root cause or facilitator of the current conflict!

Look at the following two profile pictures of @Kap57608111 and @RavinderKapur2, same person, staunch Congress supporter, the first profile is a backup account of the latter, both accounts doing disinformation campaigns against one particular community! Why backup account, because she knows that she is involved in disinformation campaigns and her account can get blocked! Look at one of her tweets below where she shared a video from 4th May 2023 saying it was from 3rd May!

While sharing this video, @RavinderKapur2 doesn’t seem to know the significance of this video, which is a clear evidence that the majority of the Chin-Kukis had to vacate their houses and take shelter after the reaction of the majority Meiteis started on 4th May following what happened the night before in Churachandpur, Moreh, Kangpokpi, etc where almost all the Meitei houses had been looted and burned down to ashes!

It is high time for the Congress party to check the actions of their party workers or those who are involved in such activities in its name if it wants the Manipuris to forget its past legacy and come back to power!

The Manipuris including the diaspora should be mindful of this fact.
