2 drops of 2M ammonia on paper. Crystals of CuSO4 & KMnO4. Electrodes (carbon fibre) connected to 9v battery. Deep blue {Cu(NH3)4]2+ moves to one electrode (-ve) and MnO4- to the other (+ve). This took 10 minutes in real time. #microchemistry @CLEAPSS . 21st century chemistry!
