@EM_RESUS we also don't offer "full body x rays" to check for "government-implanted chips," nor do we ward the rooms against "curses" placed by your children's spouses. disappointing, I know.
@DGlaucomflecken My OB is double boarded in psych, so she manages both for me. Anything she codes as psych, my insurance kicks to their "carve out" policy for mental health. Got a bill a year after my first visit because the hospital never directly talked to the carve out and it was "unpaid"
@DGlaucomflecken I didn't know about this, but I called my main insurance and their weird carve out people, who said they never got a charge for anything, let alone denied it. I bitched up a storm about how it's not my job to bill my insurance for them and the hospital ended up writing it off.
@jtrebach This happened to my supervising attending last week and some other doctor- dentist? but it was night shift so idk - literally came and yelled at him lol
@DontSayThatShot@AWeissmann_ I too tell my boss things he doesn't want to hear, but I a) know the rules (cuz it's my job) and b) don't wanna go to prison. Can I be chief of staff?
@gretchemaben My dog once heard the neighbor dog behind our fence, so she stuck her head in a very small hole in the fence and started screaming and wiggling because she couldn't get out. I sprinted over, thinking neighbor dog had her- nope. I had to kick the fence out to free her dumb self.
@7Veritas4 Jack, do you post your highly entertaining and informative comments/narrative anywhere else? For those of us who want to get off Not-Twitter but haven't committed to another platform? This account is the only reason I'm still here. This place is starting to feel... contaminated.
@7Veritas4 Jack. Give it to me straight. What are the chances something idiotic he does will fall under the legal definition of "influence or intimidate witnesses or the jury pool" ?
@jtrebach Alright alright so in a subversion of this trope, I once asked to borrow my attending 's pen, and he lent me his favorite pen and asked for it back before I even had a chance to leave with it.
@CalltoActivism wait what's wrong with your hair? that kind of color scheme takes work to select, match, apply, maintain... more work than I'm sure the cashier put into her hair.
@LockPickingLwyr Can you recommend a bike lock for me? My last bike on university campus had the (wimpy chain) lock cut and bike stolen. Some kind friends bought me another bike and I don't want this one taken, but I can't spend $299 on a top of the line Altor. #studentbudget
