@TheNotoriousMMA reposted my content
(no cap)
I've seen a lot of people complaining about others reposting their content.
I get it, but honestly, I see it differently.
A while back, one of my posts got reposted by Conor McGregor, and it blew up.
And I'm actually grateful it happened, because it changed everything for me.
Now I reach out to fighters and say "hey, this post blew up when it got reposted by Conor. Want me to make one for you?"
And in a lot of cases, they say "sure"
If that repost never happened, I don't think getting replies would be that easy.
So yeah, a lot of times when someone reposts your content, it's a good thing.
IMO, as long as they're not selling anything with it, I'm fine with it.
That's my take.
Got 2 million views on a post I made for @AndreiArlovski
How?
Simple.
I used a proven hook.
A hook is just your opening strike, it's the first impression. If it’s a video, it’s the first 3 seconds. If it’s a carousel, it’s the cover slide. If it doesn’t land immediately, the audience walks away.
I noticed a specific opening line blowing up on parenting TikTok: "Want an easy kid vs. Want a resilient human"
What did I do? Simple.
I took that exact same hook and used it on a swipe post.
Strong hook + proven format = millions of views
Organic content > paid ads
Let me explain...
When you post an ad you are paying to reach an audience
when you post organic content you are getting free reach from the algorithm
2 options
your content is good = you get more views
your content is bad = you barely get any
so essentially, organic content is a testing ground
if it performs, great, you can now run that as an ad
if it doesn't... well, better luck next time
here's the thing
one can't live without the other
but not vice versa
if you keep throwing creatives directly into ads
you will burn a bunch of cash
If you instead use organic as a testing ground
you can then run the best performing posts as paid ads and the ones that convert
That's what i do with my clients
This post got around 900k organic views
as well as 1000 website clicks
That's approximately 1k-3k in ad spend
Knowing that, we now know that this piece of content can be run as an ad and it will perform well
I made a fight announcement for the fight between @HenryCejudo & @MerabDvalishvil
Both of them are Ultimate Fighting Championship champions.
The post did even better than the official announcement!
I feel like this format is what companies should start implementing, instead of just posting generic announcements like they do for most fights.
It's something different, and people definitely love it!
