@smartnakamoura That single act has been used by fraudsters to move and clean money several times, the fraudsters go untraced but the pos operator is the last trace to the illicit funds.
@smartnakamoura Mr smart, well done for this analysis.
Issue of POS fraud is very wide and it’s a study on its own.
In addition to your point, many pos operators don’t even know they are enabling fraud. You will see pos operators accepting transfer of 100 of thousands and giving cash to customer
A junior said "Good morning" to me in the elevator.
I checked my watch.
It was 11:00 AM.
I looked at him.
"It's almost lunch," I said.
"You're three hours late to the concept of morning."
He tried to explain he'd been at his desk since 7.
I interrupted and told him accuracy matters more than intent.
I emailed his reviewer suggesting he take a CLE on time management.
He apologized later.
I didn't reply.
I forwarded the apology to HR as proof of his inefficiency.
Greetings are risky.
He learned an important lesson.
Never speak to a partner in the elevator.
Unless spoken to.
Civil servant!
Are to serve and continue suffering in this Nigeria.
Civil servant are not meant to be successful as it is designed.
But which civil servant will fold his hand and let his family die of hunger?
Public service rule said they can’t do any other thing except farming, and it has to be a small scale.
Is that what they will use to survive this harsh economy?
Nigeria’s law is a problem on its own, and it’s afffecting its nigeria.
When civil servant are not allow to engage in other trade, then they should be paid well enough for them to survive, else, they tends to get involved in crime such as bribery, kickback, corruption, abuse of office, and those who fear God will not engage in crime but will go into business fully.
The same Nigeria that failed them will still want to come and prosecute them for doing business!
Why do we have to go round the same circle and put the blame on the less powerful people.
Nigeria my country
