Don’t underestimate what’s going on here. Here is my stance on immigration as a Catholic Australian:

I see and treat every person with the same respect as anybody else, we all share the same intrinsic value as humans.

But as I am just a man, my resources of charity and love are finite and must be prioritised.

Aquinas uses the following order;

1. God
2. Yourself
3. Family
4. Neighbour
5. Strangers

1. I believe any immigration policy that isnt aligned with the countries NATIVE birth rate becomes a slow drip to demographic replacement. If the government wants to bring in more people then they must first address native birth rates.

2. I believe in strict skilled immigration. There's something based about taking the best of the best from other countries and using them to our advantage.

3. My country is my birthright. I should be allowed to live around people who look like me. Therefore immigration should be prioritised to people that fit this bill. Europeans and American culture differs from ours on the surface but it still shares the same bedrock of Christian morals which makes assimilation easy.

4. Immigrants should never be allowed to vote in our elections or take a position in public office. At the very minimum, it should take 3 generations to allow them to assimilate to our way of life and values. They should also be completely self sustaining and have no access to any welfare until they gain a permanent residency which should be at minimum 10 years.

5. They abide by a one strike rule. If any of their family members break the law then they are all deported. They are guests in a host nation. We owe them nothing, they owe us everything, and that includes their best behaviour.
