🚨🗣 Jamie O'Hara on Manchester United's summer transfer business so far:
"I don't think they've done ANYWHERE NEAR enough business.
"For me I thought they will back Michael Carrick, they will spend money and they were going to get CLOSER to Arsenal, Manchester City.
"I don't think they've done that. They've left themselves SHORT and I think they should have done MORE, because there were opportunities for them to get some really GOOD players like Adam Wharton, like Konsa.
"There's players out there that are available they they could have made HAPPEN. They are Manchester United, like come on they are stills the BIGGEST CLUB in England."

🚨 Brighton executive on Carlos Baleba finally joining Manchester United:
🗣️ Executive: “The first proper conversation I had with Carlos about his future, I realised his mind was already made up. His body was at Brighton. His head was already at Old Trafford.
When the move didn’t happen, we tried to reassure him. We told him, ‘You’re young. You’re highly talented, If United doesn’t happen, Madrid could come, Bayern could come, other huge clubs will come. We’ll make sure of that.’
But That actually made him more frustrated.”
🗣️ Reporter: “Because he only wanted United?”
🗣️ Executive: “Exactly. We kept talking to him about big clubs. He kept trying to explain that he wasn’t looking for any big club. The only big club he wanted… Manchester United. Players worry when a dream move disappears because they don’t know whether that opportunity will ever come again.
So I’m happy for him now. He finally got it. He told us he loves the supporters and wants to show them what he can be in that midfield. To be honest, after everything we went through trying to keep him away from Manchester United, the least he can do now is be very good for them.”
How is Chelsea getting £40m for Delap after just scoring one goal in 28 games and 12 starts in the PL? They bought him for just £30m when they triggered his relegation release clause.
Delap is only 23, it's true, and he scored 12 goals while at Ipswich, but Joshua Zirkzee is also 24 years old and he scored 2 goals and assisted once in 24 games in the PL last season.
He also scored 11 goals and 4 assists in 34 games while in Serie A. This is more of a selling problem for United than player valuation, because how come we can't get £30m for Zirkzee but Delap is going for £45m?
Marc Armstrong and Omar Berrada have to do better at moving on OK players. It hinders our buying.
🚨 Carlos Baleba’s farewell message to Brighton fans: “You took a 19 year old who could not speak the language, gave him a shirt, three years and the time to grow up. I will be looking for your result every week for the rest of my life.”
