Another demo. I was in a bad place when I wrote this early this year. I was self-medicating, taking 12-20 pills a day to numb the pain, deal with the flashback episodes, and to desperately try to sleep. That’s in the past now. Better days ahead.

2025 has been about trying to come to terms with my journey of grief and that journey has led me to writing songs. This is the first verse and chorus of a rock song I wrote earlier this year when I was in a dark place.

I apologize for disappearing for nearly two years, but fighting depression, sleep deprivation, and ptsd-like flashbacks, this journey of grief attempting to learn to live again has been gut wrenching. I’m doing better now.

I appreciate all the messages and will try to respond soon. I’m doing good. A couple tests next week and a procedure on Tuesday. So next week is going to be a bit rough and I’ll have to take it slow next week…but I will become active again. ❤️
