If we had a proper system of vetting and a functional immigration system, we likely could prevent most of these crimes AND provide safe haven & opportunity. But with the current dysfunctional system the best we can do is deport while working towards a better model.

It's not protesting the murder, because we can all agree murder is bad, it's protesting the circumstances that led to the murder. Her murderer should not have been here, or she would be.
