@TheEloquentOg I agree, and Katara was such an integral part in Aang’s story, if she had been with Zuko, Korra’s story would’ve felt lackluster.
In a perfect world where Zuko hadn’t have been their enemy for most of the series, Katara would’ve fallen for him

@TheEloquentOg Agreed, I think Katara and Zuko respected Aang’s feelings too much and they allowed that to dictate their relationship with each other. Plot wise, Aang and Katara not being together would change Korra’s story, and Korra’s journey intertwined with Aang and Katara’s kids perfectly
