The results, scheduled for announcement the day after, were tragically compromised when Barrister Abdulwahab Dahiru (Returning Officer, Yola South), Umar U.J Jada (Returning Officer, Yola North), your own sons, Aliyu Atiku Abubakar and Mustapha Atiku Abubakar, along with Bilyaminu AA Duhu (Zonal Youth Leader, Northeast), stormed the collation centre in the middle of the night. There, they unlawfully altered the results of four wards in Yola South.

This is not merely an injustice or a breach of electoral law; it is a direct assault on your political viability in the general election. Adamawa Central is your stronghold, yet people from your own home are tarnishing your image by forcing through an emergency candidate who cannot win his own Local Government Area, let alone Adamawa Central, in a general election. Your Excellency, we only asked for a free, fair, credible, and transparent primary election, which Hon. Yusuf Garba clearly won. Instead, the actions of your own sons risk ruining not just the election's integrity but also your family's hard-earned reputation.

We therefore call on you, as the leader of our great party, and on all ADC stakeholders, to intervene immediately. Your swift action at this trying moment, when those close to you seek to undermine both justice and your political future, is crucial. The party looks to you to restore honour, uphold the rule of law, and ensure that Adamawa Central remains a true bastion of democratic values, not a scene of midnight manipulation.
