The majority of westerners cannot understand the level of love and devotion being demonstrated for Irans late Supreme Leader. We cannot comprehend that it was his choice. We no longer have leaders who would sacrifice their lives for their people.
Maybe they don’t know. Maybe they don’t have the words to explain it. Maybe it’s about English. Maybe they don’t understand these people, but something is certainly WRONG when they say Iranians came to the funeral to show respect to martyr Seyed Ali.
What is showing respect? This combination feels so off. Showing?
Many came because they wanted to see him for the first and last time in their lives. They came because they miss his face, his hands, his voice, his smile, his fatherhood so badly. They came because they didn’t want to believe, they couldn’t believe that he is martyred so they came to force themselves to believe this horrifying truth. For four months, they’ve been holding their breaths. They came because the war was part of our grief and we didn’t want to mourn while were fighting the Satan. They came because they want revenge. They came because what else can you do when you let the enemy take your father, your mother, your pride, your dignity your everything your everybody? What else can you do?
Iranians don’t just respect Seyed Ali, they love him wholeheartedly. They wanted to die for him, and they couldn’t. He didn’t allow it. He left us first. He didn’t give us a chance to die for him. For their entire lives people were praying to sacrifice their lives for him and they couldn’t. Do English speakers even understand this level of frustration and devotion?
They came because Seyed Ali decided to leave Tehran. We allowed this to happen to our Imam, shame on us..
@nelaknight@DaniMayakovski There are great numbers of Jewish people speaking out against both Zionism and the actions of the Israeli government. Both online and in the streets. If you choose to pretend otherwise- we know why.
"Spit on your own and you can't do anything - but if we all spit together we can drown the bastards" Bob Crow. The wealthy have always understood the power of the masses. They will always seek to divide us.
This is powerful!!
The video strikingly illustrates the game of misinformation that’s being played by Nigel Farage & others. It shows who’s actually benefiting from it.
Absolutely worth watching!

"He's not a boy scout". No he's a former terrorist. Which is absolutely fine because he has a nice new suit and haircut and as transformed into US's bitch apparently.
.@POTUS on Israeli military action in Lebanon: "You don't have to knock down an apartment house every time you're looking for somebody, because there are a lot of people in those apartment houses, and they're not all Hezbollah."
@Poseidonios9@owenjonesjourno When you only care about women and girls being raped by certain men. You are just using their suffering to further an agenda. Unless of course you are equally disgusted by the percentage of rapes that end in a prosecution. Or that victims find the trial as traumatic as the rape.
It's easy to make baseless claims. Let's remember he thought creating a martyr of Irans last leader was a win for the US. What has the US gained from Trumps foreign policy towards Iran?
I firmly agree with this much. It looks like the admin made a mistake with this MOU. But I still think that Trump is doing a great job with foreign policy, and that particularly includes the destruction of the bulk of Iran's military and defense industrial base.
@EmilySm43 I support a wealth cap. Allowing individuals to accumulate obscene amounts of wealth is the greatest threat to democracy. It also destroys more meaningful concepts of success. It wrongly encourages us to hierarchy human value in monetary terms.
@MrBenRichards@Trisha6q@grok The US have shown themselves to be untrustworthy. They have shown they cannot protect their Arab allies. They underestimated Iran. They have not succeeded in any of their stated aims. They have killed thousands of civilians and much civilian infrastructure.
@MrBenRichards@Trisha6q@grok It is too early to be discussing winners. Fighting may still resume. Much negotiations lie ahead. It would seem that Iran has improved it's standing. They have shown themselves to be resilient in the face of Israeli and US aggression. They have stayed true to their stated aims.
@MrBenRichards@ellavh02@grok Trump has changed his stated aims on numerous occasions. How would the US have responded if Iran had killed Trump and his family? Or bombed a school killing 170+ children? Now he thinks we should use common sense and allow Iran to have nuclear power.
@DefundIslam@novaramedia Who would you trust to decide what effects Britain? Should we have turned a blind eye to Hitler until he was crossing the Channel? If he had never attacked Britain, should we have ignored the genocide against Jewish people?
