@CottageNotebook As you can see I get very passionate about this issue though it is not one I speak too much about it outside home as I know people will think I am attacking their religion rather than the structural oppressions of the church. I no people don't c these ideas as separate like I do.

@CottageNotebook In countries that don't allow religion to control state this is not an issue. As soon as religion of any faith touches state issues women get oppressed. There may be a few exceptions but I'm finding it hard to come up with any.

@CottageNotebook I have respect for people to practice what ever faith they wish and I teach that to my daughter every day but (a big but) when that faith encroaches on my basic human rights as a woman I have a Massive problem. I don't believe in Ireland religion can be taken out of it 1/2.

@CottageNotebook I don't even believe that. They abandon people as soon as they are born. If not they would not turn a blind eye to the atrocities that this country inflicted on it's children, now and in the past.

@CottageNotebook I know it's ridiculous. If someone would rather see me dead than a bunch of cell I will not give them the choice on what they want to be called. I'm sure it would anger them to have that choice taken from them.

Can we stop calling them pro-lifers from now on, they are anti-choicers. If you allow women to die, due to a belief that God would want it that way, you are not pro-life, plain and simple. #repealthe8th
