We are requesting the public's help to solve a murder case.

Our Homicide Unit needs information that will help lead them to the arrest of the suspect(s) involved in a deadly shooting.

The incident occurred on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at approximately 8:48 p.m.

West Division officers were dispatched for a shooting call in an apartment complex near the 6000 block of Portico Dr. and found a gunshot victim.

The victim, Maddox Garza (pictured below) 21 of Fort Worth, was shot in his vehicle and then taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
