Bombshell: The Browns are finalizing a trade that will send two-time Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams, per @rapsheet, @TomPelissero and me.

In exchange for Garrett, the Rams are expected to send Pro-Bowl edge Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick and other draft-pick compensation still being negotiated to the Browns.

Unfortunately the Rams shared a division with the probable Superbowl winners. Patriots played a historically weak schedule. Rams played 7 games against teams with 12 wins.

@patsguydude @BostonHempire @weddlesbeard Saying that playing bad teams has no effect on how well your team plays is questionable. When you play bad teams, easier to get the ball back, more scoring opps, playing with late-game pressure is gone. Stafford had 2 rough games but so did Maye.
Stafford beat FOUR 12 win teams.
