@KyleKulinski was listening to your show today and heard you talk about Bill Maher and free college. New Mexico passed tuition free college starting this fall. It applies to state schools and trade schools https://t.co/HAqZWBHume
A Black man was arrested at gunpoint in his own home in Wisconsin after neighbors didn’t recognize him.
Keonte Furdge recently moved and was sitting on the porch when a neighbor called the police. Furdge is suing the city and two officers, who entered the home without knocking.
@NakedAndNapping @RecAsiakoth I really feel like it's our job to point out other people's hypocrisies, as a comrade or as a friend, so that we can all be made aware of these hypocrisies in order to make a change. If we don't know we're being hypocritical, we can change out of those hypocrisies
BREAKING: A federal appeals court just ruled that the NSA’s bulk collection of Americans’ phone records was illegal.
This ruling, which confirms what we have always known, is a victory for our privacy rights.
@Zesegan@DaniNMills@LucasBrownEyes Same here bro. I understand how using these native american names without educating people about their history is perpetuating the erasing of their history. We should all have to learn the history of the people who's land we stole
@Zesegan@DaniNMills@LucasBrownEyes Right. I agree. The land was probably some BS they did after driving them out or killing them. But the company was named after the place they were from not because it was native american but because they lived there. I feel like that's an important caveat
@Zesegan@DaniNMills@LucasBrownEyes But the county was named after the native americans that occupied that land. Then the company was named after the county. So it is different. There is a degree of separation. And if you can't acknowledge that difference then you're just being willfully ignorant
