For 4 days, students have been on the streets, sacrificing their home, studies, comfort and time to demand what is rightfully theirs. Yet the government chooses silence over solutions. How long will Odisha’s educated youth be ignored? #SSBPGT#OPSCPGT#YOUTHOFODISHA
@suryabanshibjp Many of us have completed our Post Graduation and qualifications, yet we haven't even been given a single opportunity to appear for the examination. Meanwhile, our age is increasing, parents are ageing, and the daily mental and financial stress is becoming unbearable.
@suryabanshibjp Hon'ble Education Minister, Odisha, please hear the concern of thousands of qualified aspirants. For the last 2 years, there has been no recruitment/vacancy notification for OPSC PGT/SSB PGT and SSB Lecturer posts.
@suryabanshibjp Sir, Sir, do you have any idea what the aspirants of SSB Lecturer and OPSC/SSB PGT are going through? Every day, we are dealing with immense mental stress and emotional breakdowns.
@suryabanshibjp What is the point of earning a master’s degree, spending years preparing, and working hard for these opportunities when we are continuously forced to suffer because of the delay in exam notifications? @suryabanshibjp@NityanandaBJP
🚨 DESTROYED HIGHER EDUCATION IN ODISHA 🚨
What is happening to higher education in Odisha?
❌ No regular recruitment in Universities
❌ No regular recruitment in Government Degree Colleges
❌ No regular recruitment in Non-Government Aided Colleges
❌ Increasing dependence on Guest Faculty in Universities
❌ Guest Faculty preferred in Government Degree Colleges
❌ Guest Faculty preferred in Non-Government Aided Colleges
❌ Now even retired Guest Faculty being engaged in Non-Government Aided Colleges
❌ Fresh PG pass-outs being ignored
❌ PG, UGC-NET & PhD aspirants being left waiting for opportunities
If qualified youth are continuously denied regular recruitment, what is the future of higher education in Odisha?
Education needs regular teachers, transparent recruitment and a clear recruitment calendar—not endless temporary arrangements.
Odisha's youth deserve opportunities, not uncertainty.

How much more injustice do students have to endure? First came the recruitment of guest faculties. If retired guest faculties are so indispensable, then why retire them at all? Don't retire them, extend their tenure until the end of their lives.Resolve #ssb_lecturer_case
🚨 STOP REPLACING YOUTH WITH RETIRED RECRUITMENT 🚨
Thousands of qualified MA, UGC-NET & PhD aspirants are waiting for regular lecturer recruitment in Odisha. Instead of filling vacancies through a transparent and timely recruitment process, the engagement of retired guest faculty in Non-Govt. Aided Colleges raises serious concerns among young job seekers.
Odisha's educated youth deserve fair opportunities, regular recruitment, and a clear recruitment timeline. Our future cannot remain on hold indefinitely.
We urge the Hon'ble Chief Minister, Higher Education Minister, and Higher Education Department to prioritize regular recruitment and address the concerns of qualified aspirants.
Recruit the youth. Strengthen higher education. Secure Odisha's future.

🚨 ODISHA'S YOUTH ARE LOSING HOPE. WHO WILL TAKE RESPONSIBILITY?
The Higher Education Department announced 786 regular Lecturer posts in 2024. Thousands of aspirants applied, prepared with dedication, and waited with hope.
Now, instead of ensuring regular recruitment, the focus appears to be on appointing guest faculty in non-government aided colleges. Temporary appointments should not become a substitute for transparent, merit-based recruitment.
Every year of delay means lost opportunities for qualified youth and continued uncertainty for higher education.
Resolve the pending SSB Lecturer issue. Restore regular recruitment. Let merit and fairness prevail.

🚨 𝐇𝐀𝐒 𝐎𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐀'𝐒 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐃𝐄𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐁𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐋𝐘𝐙𝐄𝐃?
Odisha's higher education system is facing a serious crisis.
• The SSB Lecturer recruitment matter has remained pending in the Odisha High Court since 2023.
• No regular recruitment in non-government aided colleges since 2023.
• Recruitment of Assistant Professors in Government Degree Colleges is still incomplete as OPSC has not published the final results.
• Regular recruitment in universities is also delayed.
Instead of filling permanent teaching posts, the Department of Higher Education is planning to engage retired guest faculty. If this continues, our colleges will depend mainly on temporary and retired teachers.
How long will this culture continue? Students deserve quality education, and qualified youth deserve regular employment. Higher education cannot be kept on hold forever.
We urge the Government to take immediate steps to resolve the pending recruitment issues and restore confidence in Odisha's higher education system.
