I think this line should be closer to pickem. I like how Wang Cong has heavy low kicks and no one has proactively tried to kick Natalia's legs. I think this is particularly critical in this matchup because Natalia's entire style is predicated on her lateral movement which enables her point fighting style. I think the low kicks are Wang's best weapon. This is a 5 round fight at elevation and Wang is coming in on short notice so I think the market is expecting Natalia (who has had a full camp at elevation) to have significantly better cardio. I don't think that is how the cardio dynamic will play out. Natalia has an energy intensive style which I expect to be much harder to execute across 5 rounds at elevation. Wang has a conservative style and picks her shots well mixing the strikes up to the body and legs as well as the head. I think both fighters are fast and this might be the first fight where Natalia does not posess a clear speed advantage. I favour Cong Wang in the boxing exchanges and Jessica Andrade was able to corner Natalia up against the fence consistently. I also though Namajunas won that fight and we would not be seeing this line if the judges had handed down the correct decision (in my opinion).All in all I think Wang Cong can cause a lot of problems for Natalia here and I like her at the plus money. She is the most dangerous striker Natalia has faced to date.

I think there is a fundamental misalignment between the moneyline and the finish prop here. Demopolous is a punching bag and Jauregui can hit. The striking gap should be enormous and I do not see demopolous landing a TD in this with the physicality gap.

Think the line should be closer to pickem here or Raoni slight fav. I think he has the better 5 round cardio, striking and is one of the best antigrapplers in the division. I think this is a really tough out for Rosas Jr to beat Raoni over 5 rds.

Some quick thoughts on the #UFC331 main event

Van's counterwrestling and risk mitigation was tremendous in this fight. There were plenty of times where Pantoja was looking for backtakes and Van would not let him get around the corner and squirmed when Pantoja was adjusting.

Van's underhook game is vastly improved and I think grapplers are going to have a seriously tough time with controlling him on the mat and getting him there in the first place.

I do think Van's kyrptonite is a big hitter who can touch his somewhat sketchy chin (Kape, Temirov types).

Alexandre Pantoja is an absolute animal and made of stone. I'm not sure where Pantoja goes from here but I feel like his athletic and neurological window is closing. I'm pouring one out tonight for one of the most exciting fighters in UFC history.

Joshua Van v Alexandre Pantoja (Goes to Decision) +175

I think this is a big number especially for a flyweight fight. Pantoja has sub equity but I think Van will be very squirmish and hard to control on the mat consistently enough to open up the submission game. He showed decent intelligence in the Taira fight and the guy does not get tired. Pantoja has elite historical durability with a lot of heart so I think its less likely than implied that he gets finished.
