@bayesianboy I think the problem people have with it is that it uses artists' work without their permission and a lot of people have profited off of selling AI art, rather than using it as inspiration. John Oliver has a pretty good segment on it. It's also VERY funny but I won't spoil it.
We have some new awesome designs in our RedBubble store! A cheeky Sulawesi macaque, a beautiful emperor moth, and a happy common magpie - check them out https://t.co/6f64lSD2b5
Plus, every purchase helps us to finance small microgrants to animal behaviour students :)

D&D movie was super fun! Definitely a much-needed distraction from *gestures vaguely*
As a friend put it, "It was great... like The Mummy great. Won't win any awards but I fully enjoyed the whole ride"
Although, I'd argue that the practical effects SHOULD win an award.
@NathanCAGray @GaRoDean My honest to take is that postgraduate students aren't employees.
I worry about stipends that are overly generous because in my view a hungry hunter is the best hunter. I also think a lot of this as being driven by reasonable envy of industry linked stem stipends
@Matt_Bernanke Oooh absolutely is! I'm hoping someone makes stats for the characters and/or goes through the whole movie and puts some dice in the corner for each character's rolls😂 There were definitely a couple nat 1s and nat 20s (+6 in one of the scenes)
P.s. happy Pesach 🪶🥄
@tcarpenter216 Wide! If needed, I setup my laptop on a stand next to it but most of the time I don't need the second one. The wide lets me see all my columns in a complicated dataset that hasn't been organized or extracted from yet.
@DrStephCraig @OpenAcademics If I'm not burnt out, I'll usually have music that is both chill but also a Bop. Lately I've been listening to @HayleyKiyoko nonstop
If I'm burnt out but still need music, I just put on the playlist "Deep Focus" on Spotify and get to work.
Are you interested in doing a PhD in St Andrews @st_psy, but wish you could spend half the time in Australia? Do you want to study monkey memory, but worry that anything they can do, bees can do better? This might be the #PhDposition for you! https://t.co/A86La0kuYN
