With the AT play last night I see a lot of people saying "Who gets up with closed fists?!" Well probably somebody who has no labrums in both arms.

An open-hand push bends the wrist back, forcing the shoulder socket to absorb a massive, rotating load, which can cause pinching or dislocation without labrum cartilage.

​By using closed fists, AT locks her wrists straight. This bypasses the unstable shoulder mechanics, shifting the load to her triceps and chest instead of her damaged joints.
